BASIC QUICHE | |
2 (9 inch) deep dish pie crusts Mix together: 8 lg. eggs 16 oz. cottage cheese 1 to 1 1/4 c. grated Mozzarella and Swiss cheeses (combined) 1/2 c. cream or half and half Seasoning (salt and pepper) to taste Pour into pie crust and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Variations: Place in bottom of pie crust: Meat or vegetable before adding meat mixture. Such as: Ham, chicken, shrimp, bacon, broccoli, spinach or any combination. Leftovers are great for this. Make the day before for breakfast or lunch or cook until almost done and freeze (well wrapped). |
