PERSIMMON COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. persimmon pulp
1 tsp. baking soda - dissolved in pulp
2 c. flour
1 c. nuts
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg. Add flour and persimmon pulp alternately. Add raisins and nuts. Mix together well. Drop by teaspoonful on greased and floured baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
