HEARTY GREEN SPLIT PEA SOUP 
2 (16 oz.) pkgs. green peas
1 (16 oz.) bag mixed vegetables
6 qt. water
1 sm. smoked ham

Fill large soup pot with water; add washed peas. Add bag of vegetables and ham. Slow cook for approximately 4-5 hours, stirring occasionally. Peas should thicken. When done, cut ham into small chunks and add back into soup. Stir together. Ready to serve.
