POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
1/4 lb. butter (Parkay)
3 tbsp. Crisco shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. lemon flavor
2 tsp. vanilla flavor
1-1 1/2 c. milk (or buttermilk)

Combine and blend butter, butter, and shortening. Then add sugar, whip together. Then sift in flour mixed with baking powder and gradually add milk until creamy and smooth. Last add vanilla and lemon flavor. Grease and flour pan - knocking off excess flour. Put in pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done.
