MARINATED GREEN BEANS 
3 (10 oz.) cans green beans
8 slices bacon
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 onion, thin sliced
1/4 c. water

Cook bacon and set aside. In bacon grease, saute onion and remove from skillet. Add to skillet: vinegar, water and brown sugar. Place green beans in baking dish, stir in onions and crumbled bacon. Pour sauce from skillet over beans. Cover and marinate 4 to 6 hours. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
