MARSHMALLOW FUDGE BARS 
3/4 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and cocoa. Cream shortening and sugar until light. Add eggs. Add sifted ingredients to creamed mixture and blend well. Blend in vanilla and nuts. Spread in greased and floured 12"x8" pan. Bake in 350 degree oven 25 to 30 minutes. Cover top of baked bars with miniature marshmallows. Return to oven for 3 minutes or until marshmallows are soft. Cover with chocolate frosting.

Combine 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar, 1/4 cup water and 2 squares chocolate in saucepan. Let it come to a boil and cook for 3 minutes. Add 3 tablespoons butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Cool. Blend in 1 1/2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar. Spread over bars.
