SCALLOPED POTATOES 
8 medium potatoes or 2 qt. sliced
1/2 c. minced onion
2 tbsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 (10 1/2 or 11 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 c. milk

Alternate layers of potatoes and onion in greased 2-quart baking dish. Season each layer with salt and pepper. Mix mushroom soup and milk; pour over potatoes. Cover and bake in a moderate 350°F oven for 1 1/2 hours.

Makes 8 servings.
