WHITE MOUNTAIN FROSTING | |
1/2 c. sugar 1/4 c. white Karo syrup 2 beaten egg whites Dash of salt 2 tbsp. water 1 tsp. vanilla Mix sugar, syrup, salt, and water. Cover and bring to rolling boil. Remove cover and cook until syrup spins a thread 6-8 inches long. Pour slowly into beaten egg whites and continue beating until peaks form. Add vanilla. Spread on cake or cookies. |
