GRANNY CAKE 
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple with juice
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Sift together flour, sugar, salt and soda. Add pineapple with juice and eggs. Mix and pour in 9x13-inch pan. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over cake.

Bake 35 minutes at 350°F.

Topping:

1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 c. canned milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Heat to dissolve sugar and pour over cake while warm.
