HEARTY BEEF & VEGETABLE SOUP 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
4 c. sliced cabbage
6 c. chopped carrots
1 can tomatoes, undrained
1/2 pkg. frozen Lima beans
1 can tomato paste
1/2 pkg. (9 oz.) frozen cut green beans
1/2 pkg. frozen peas
2 tsp. salt
1 can tomato juice

Brown beef in pan, drain. Put in cooker, add vegetables. Bring to boiling. Cover, then simmer 30 minutes, then add salt.
