CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 (4 oz.) pkg. Bakers German sweet or 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Bakers semi-sweet chocolate
cut into 3/8" chunks
1 1/3 c. Angel Flake coconut

Beat butter, sugars, vanilla and egg until light and fluffy. Mix flour with soda and salt, blend into butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chunks and coconut. Chill one hour. Drop 2" apart by heaping teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until well browned.

Cookies will be soft in center when done. Cool 2 minutes before removing from sheet.
