1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
6 whole cloves
2 c. fresh peaches, peeled and chopped
1/2 c. gin

Boil sugar, water and cloves 5 minutes. Strain out cloves and discard. Add peaches and gin. Chill. Serve over ice cream.
