2 scant c. sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 tbsp. flour
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter

Separate 4 eggs, add 1 whole egg to egg yolks. Beat with mixer, add 1 1/2 cups milk, beat. Pour in first mixture (sugar, cocoa, flour, and salt). Cook in double boiler until thick. Add vanilla and butter. Put in dish or baked pie shell. Add meringue.
