PUMPKIN PIE 
1 1/2 c. pumpkin
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. melted butter
1 1/2 c. milk (less when you use frozen pumpkin)
1 c. sugar or sweetener
1/8 c. molasses
2 eggs, beaten

Sift sugar, cornstarch, salt, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg together. Mix this with pumpkin. Add eggs, melted butter, molasses, and milk.

Pour into 9 inch pie shell. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350 degrees. Bake until done (when table knife inserted in middle of pie comes out clean.)
