CHERRY TORTE 
2 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. butter
2 pkgs. Dream Whip
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cans cherry pie filling

Mix together (like a pie dough) the flour, brown sugar, walnuts and butter. Spread in a 9"x13" pan. Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees.

Crumble with a fork while still warm and spread evenly in the pan. Let cool.

Mix together the Dream Whip (prepared as directed on the package), softened cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla. Spread this mixture on top of the crust. Top with the cherry pie filling and refrigerate at least 24 hours.

You may substitute blueberry pie filling for the cherry pie filling.
