TANDOORI CHICKEN II 
1-3 lbs. chicken
2 onions
6-8 cloves garlic
1 lg. chunk ginger root
2 tsp. cumin
2 tsp. coriander
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 c. yogurt
Juice of 1-2 lemons
Tandoori Basting Sauce

BASTING SAUCE:

1 c. butter
2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. coriander
Juice of 1 lemon

Mix together basting sauce; set aside.

Pierce chicken all over with fork. Grind onion, garlic and ginger root in a blender. Add seasonings and mix. Combine with yogurt and lemon juice. Rub mixture into chicken and marinate overnight. Grill over indirect heat of charcoal grill for 45 minutes. For the remainder of the cooking time (approximately 45 minutes) brush sauce frequently over chicken.
