24 chopped green tomatoes 12 chopped red tomatoes 12 chopped onions 1 lg. bunch celery 1 lg. cabbage 1 hot pepper 4 sweet peppers 1/2 c. salt Finely chop all of the vegetables. Mix all of the ingredients together and let stand overnight. Drain. Add: 6 c. sugar 1/2 c. cinnamon 2 c. cider vinegar 1/2 tsp. cloves 3 tbsp. mustard seed Mix well and cook about 40 minutes. Do not overcook. |
