OATMEAL WAFERS 
1 1/2 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 tbsp. maple syrup

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a medium bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Set aside.

In a small saucepan or skillet, melt the butter over moderate heat. Add butter and maple syrup to the dry ingredients and mix well.

Drop the dough by teaspoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet, about 2 inches apart. Bake for 6 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and let them harden on baking sheet for 2 minutes before removing.
