1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sour cream

1. Cream butter.

2. Add sugar; stir.

3. Add eggs; stir.

4. Add vanilla; beat until light and fluffy.

5. In another bowl mix and sift flour, baking soda and powder and salt.

6. Add flour mix to butter mix alternating with sour cream, ending with the dry ingredients.

7. Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet.

8. Lightly flatten with fingers dipped in water.

9. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture or colored sugar crystals. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Serves 30+ cookies. Kids love to help with this recipe and do the decorating!
