BEEF AND RICE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. shortening
1 sm. onion, sliced thin
1/2 c. sliced celery
1 tsp. soy sauce
1/8 tsp. oregano
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 c. cooked rice
Toasted sliced almonds

Heat shortening in skillet and brown beef, discarding fat. Combine all ingredients except rice and almonds. Put rice and almonds in the cooker and cook on high for 3 hours. Then add all ingredients to cooked rice and almonds in the cooker and mix well then serve.
