CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. flour
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Cream shortening and sugars together. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix soda, salt, cinnamon and flour together and gradually add to the sugar mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Divide dough into 3 parts. Roll dough into logs. Slice and bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350 degrees. Logs can be stored in freezer until ready to bake.
