HOMEMADE STEAK SAUCE | |
1 c. catsup 1/2 c. onion, coarsely chopped 1 clove garlic 1/4 c. water 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 c. lemon juice 1/4 c. distilled white vinegar 2 tbsp. soy sauce 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tbsp. prepared mustard Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes or until it reaches a good consistency, stirring occasionally. Cool. Strain to remove onion and garlic. Store in refrigerator. When cooked, is brown and tastes almost like A-1 sauce. |
