MEXICAN CHEF SALAD 
1 sm. onion
1 head lettuce
4-6 oz. Cheddar cheese
8 oz. Thousand Island dressing
1 med. bag Doritos
1 lg. avocado
1 lb. beef
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
1/4 tsp. salt
4 tomatoes

Chop onion, lettuce and 2 tomatoes. Toss with dressing. Crush 1/2 the Doritos and add to tomato mixture, chill. Brown beef. Add beans and salt. Simmer for 10 minutes and mix with the cold salad. Line large bowl or individual salad plates with lettuce, mound on salad and decorate with tortilla chips, avocado and tomato slices.
