GOURMET POTATOES 
1 bag frozen hash browns (southern style), thawed
1 can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
1/4 c. melted butter
8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. chopped onion
Garlic salt or powder (optional)
1 pt. sour cream

(Or, 1 box hash brown patties, broken up - 1 1/2-2 pounds).

Mix together in large bowl. Spread in 13 x 9 inch greased pan. Sprinkle with corn flake crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Can be doubled - bake 1 hour.
