QUICHE 
2 (9 inch) deep dish pie crusts
5 to 6 eggs
1 1/2 c. half & half
1 c. mushrooms (fresh)
2 kinds shredded cheese (Mozzarella and Cheddar - 1 c. total)
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. meat or 1 c. vegetables (variations - crabmeat, broccoli and ham, shrimp, vegetables)
Dash of salt and pepper

In pie crust (uncooked), mix cheese, mushrooms, vegetables, and meat. In a separate bowl, beat eggs. Add half & half, nutmeg, and salt and pepper. Pour over meat, cheese, and mushrooms. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. It should be firm and golden brown on top.
