BEARD'S QUICK AND EASY PATE 
1 pkg. quick mix for meatloaf
1 c. wine or water
1 lb. sausage meat, well seasoned
1 lb. ground beef
2 jars beef liver puree for babies
2 eggs
1/2 c. bourbon or cognac
Bacon slices

Combine mix, wine or water. Place meats and eggs in large bowl. Add dissolved mix and bourbon or cognac.

Line 1 1/2 quart tureen or baking dish with bacon slices. Pour in liquid mixture and top with 2 bacon slices.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 3/4 hours. Pour off excess fat and juices. Return to oven for 10 minutes. Cool. Slice 25 pate or serve in sandwiches.
