LADY BIRD JOHNSON'S SPOON BREAD 
1 c. corn meal
3 c. sweet milk
3 eggs, well beaten
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter, melted

Stir corn meal into 2 cups milk and let mixture come to boil, making mush. Add remaining milk and eggs. Stir in baking powder, salt and butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
