BUTTERMILK CAKE 
3 c. Swans Down cake flour, plain
3 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
4 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Sift flour 3 times. Cream butter and sugar together. Add buttermilk, soda and 1 cup flour. Mix well. Alternate eggs and flour. Add vanilla and almond flavoring. Pour into tube cake pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Let cool and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Keep wrapped in foil. This helps to keep cake moist.

Recipe is great for ease and flavor, but please instruct how to prepare pan. Simply indicated pour into tube pan. I used my NONSTICK bundt pan and it did not come out very well. I spray of PAM and some flour may have saved the best cake ever.
