CRUNCHY SUGAR COOKIES 
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. milk
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. cornflakes or Wheaties
1 c. quick oats
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. Rice Krispies

Mix together both sugars and cream with butter. Beat in eggs, vanilla, oil, and milk. Add and mix flour, soda, and salt. Add remainder of ingredients and mix well.

Put in refrigerator until easy to handle. Make into balls the size of walnuts. Place on cookie sheet. Press down with flat, greased bottom of a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
