SAUSAGE AND EGG CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. hot bulk sausage, crumbled 8 to 10 slices bread, cubed 1 1/2 c. sharp grated Cheddar cheese 6 eggs 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. dry mustard (reg. mustard may be used) 2 c. milk Brown sausage and drain. In a greased 9 x 13 inch pan, layer 1/2 bread cubes, 1/2 sausage, and 1/2 cheese; repeat. Beat milk, eggs, salt, and mustard. Pour over bread, sausage, and cheese layers. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven 45 minutes. May be assembled the day before and refrigerated until ready to bake. |
