1 pkg. yellow cake mix (less 2/3 c.)
1/2 c. butter
1 egg

Mix together and press in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.

2/3 c. cake mix
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. white Karo
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs, well beaten

Pour over baked cake. Sprinkle with 2 cups chopped pecans. Return to 350 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until done.
