GRANDMA'S CHOCOLATE SAUCE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 c. water
Dash of salt
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar, flour and cocoa. Add rest of ingredients. Bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly with wire whip. Boil until thickened. Serve hot, over ice cream or single servings of white cake. Will store for a long time in refrigerator.
