GRANDMA'S CHOCOLATE SAUCE 
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp. Hershey's (or Ghirardelli) Cocoa
1/8 tsp salt (pinch)
1 1/2 or 2 tbsp. Butter
1/4 cup water (need to moisten and stir ingredients)
1/4 - 1 tsp. vanilla (depending on your taste)

Combine ingredients in heavy saucepan and stir until all moistened. Bring to a boil and boil for one minute. Cool a little and add vanilla. Serve warm over ice cream. For the ultimate, serve ice cream on top of chocolate brownie and top with sauce.

This doesn't make a huge amount, just enough for a few servings. Can be doubled.
