IRISH SCONE 
3 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. raisins
1 1/3 c. milk
2 eggs

Mix dry ingredients. Set aside. Beat eggs and milk with wire whisk. Blend dry and liquid ingredients with wooden spoon until dry ingredients are wet. Do not over mix or beat batter.

Grease and flour 5x9 inch loaf pan or use round cast iron fry pan. Pour batter into pan. Bake 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes or until tester comes out dry.
