ISCHELER KRAPFERLN 
6 oz. butter
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. ground walnuts
1 1/2 c. all purpose flour (variable)
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. melted chocolate, yield approx. 36 rounds or 18 pastries
1/2 c. raspberry jam

1. Place all ingredients in a large bowl and work into a dough.

2. Roll out onto floured board to 1/8" thick and cut with small round cutter, 1 1/2" to 2".

3. Place on floured and buttered or non-stick cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes.

4. Cool and sandwich with raspberry jam.

5. Dip in melted chocolate and place a walnut piece on each one. 20 to 24 portions.

These are a favorite Austrian pastry.
