STEAMED CABBAGE 
1 lg. head green cabbage, sliced
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chopped sweet red pepper
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
3 to 4 thin slices salt pork
Black pepper & dried pepper

Sprinkle black pepper and dried red pepper in the green pepper, onion and cabbage. Pan fry sliced salt pork. Add the above ingredients to the pan, stirring the cabbage lightly. Add 1/2 cup water. Simmer until water has decreased, then put tight lid on pot and remove from fire.
