COCONUT MACAROONS 
1 1/3 c. of flaked coconut
1/3 c. of sugar
3 tbsp. of flour
1/8 tsp. of salt
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. of almond extract
Candied cherry halves

Combine coconut, sugar, flour and salt in bowl. Stir in egg whites and almond extract; mix well. Drop from teaspoon onto lightly greased baking sheet. Top with cherry halves. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes, or until edges are golden. Remove from sheets immediately.
