ELVIS PRESLEY CAKE 
2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. butter
1 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. dates
1 c. chopped nuts
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. maze
1 c. boiling water

Add brown sugar, butter, butter and rolled oats, pour 1 cup boiling water, let stand for 20 minutes. In same bowl add remaining ingredients and mix together thoroughly. Pour into a greased 9"x13" pan. Sprinkle nuts on top of cake. Bake at 375 degrees for about 1 hour.
