RICE AND SOUR CREAM CASSEROLE | |
1/2 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated 1 pt. sour cream, salted 1 can peeled green chilies, cut in thin strips 3 c. cooked rice 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 1/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese Mix first six ingredients together. Butter a 2 quart casserole and pour mixture into it. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. During the last 5 minutes of baking, sprinkle grated cheese on top and let it melt. Serves 8. |
