6 WEEK BRAN MUFFINS | |
1 box (15 oz.) Kellogg's Raisin Bran Flakes (or any other brand) 1 c. cooking oil 3 c. sugar 5 c. flour 4 eggs, beaten 1 qt. buttermilk 5 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. salt (opt.) Mix bran, flour, salt, sugar and soda in large bowl. Add eggs, oil and milk. Mix well. Refrigerate. DO NOT FREEZE. Put in covered plastic bowls. May be kept for 6 weeks. Bake at 400 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes in muffin cups (paper lined). Yield: between 60 to 70. Sift dry ingredients together before you mix with the bran flakes. |
