ALLISON'S CHOP SUEY | |
2 carrots, sliced 300 grams celery, sliced 1/2 head cabbage 1/2 kilo cauliflower 3 tbsp. soy sauce 1 c. chicken broth 2 tbsp. cornstarch Salt & pepper to taste 3 tbsp. cooking oil 3 cloves garlic 1 lg. onion 300 grams shrimp, peeled & sliced 1 med. size chicken breast, sliced 1 c. pork, sliced & cooked 1 sweet green pepper Cut all vegetables into serving pieces. Cut all meats and shrimp into bite size pieces. Saute garlic and onions in hot oil. Add sliced shrimp, pork and chicken. Add soy sauce, salt and pepper. Pour in chicken broth. Allow to boil 5 minutes. Add the celery and green pepper. Add carrots, cauliflower and cabbage. Cook until vegetables are almost done (do not over cook). Dissolve cornstarch in 1/4 cup water and add to mixture. Serve hot. |
