1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 lb. ground sausage
1 small green pepper, chopped
1 envelope onion soup mix
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. catsup
1/2 c. warm water
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
4 slices white bread, dampened

Sweet and Sour Sauce:

1/4 c. catsup
1 (4 oz.) tomato paste
3 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. crushed pineapple

Mix together all ingredients for meat loaf except tomato sauce. Form into a loaf pan. Pour tomato sauce over meat loaf.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes. Mix Sweet and Sour Sauce. Heat thoroughly. Pour sauce over meat loaf to serve.
