TENDER TERIYAKI SKEWERS 
1 fresh pineapple
2 lbs. top round steak
1/3 c. cream sherry
1/3 c. honey
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 green bell pepper
1 pt. cherry tomatoes
8 green onions, cut in 3 inch pieces

Peel and cut pineapple into chunks. Pierce steak with fork and cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes. Blend together sherry, honey, soy sauce, ginger and garlic. In tall narrow bowl, combine pineapple and steak and teriyaki sauce, cover and let stand 15 to 20 minutes. The pineapple will tenderize the meat. Skewer pineapple, steak, bell pepper, tomatoes and onions. Broil 12 minutes about 6 inches from heat. Baste with teriyaki sauce.
