BANANA BARS 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. shortening
1 ripe banana
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/3 c. milk

FROSTING:

2 tbsp. soft butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 med. banana
2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Spread in greased cake pan for thicker bars or jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool. Frost.

For frosting, beat ingredients until creamy. Thin with milk, if needed.
