1 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg white
1 tsp. water

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolk. Sift flour, cinnamon and salt. Add to mixture and mix well. Drop cookie batter from a teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Beat 1 egg white and approximately 1 teaspoon of water and brush each cookie. Bake at 350 degrees until brown for approximately 20 minutes.
