DANISH APPLE PUDDING | |
1 (16 oz.) jar apple sauce 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/4 c. dried bread crumbs 4 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. whipped cream 1/2 c. red currant jelly Combine the applesauce, sugar and vanilla. Beginning with apple sauce mixture and ending with bread crumbs, alternate three layers of each in a small baking dish. Dot the surface with butter. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 25 minutes until the crumbs are nicely browned. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Serve with whipped cream and a spoonful of jelly. |
