APPLE-RAISIN CRUNCH PUDDING 
6 slices white bread
1 c. milk
3 tbsp. butter
3 eggs
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 c. diced apple
2/3 c. seedless raisins
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. brown sugar

Toast bread lightly and cut into 1/2" cubes. Place in buttered baking dish. Heat milk slowly with butter until butter melts. Pour over bread and let stand 1/2 hour. Beat eggs until thick. Stir in the granulated sugar, apples, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Pour over bread mixture and fold in. Sprinkle brown sugar over the top.

Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes or until the apples are tender. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
