STUFFED PEPPERS 
1/2 c. raw basmati rice
1 c. water
2 cloves crushed garlic
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. sliced mushrooms
1/2 c. sliced celery
3/4 to 1 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. savory
Salt or tamari to taste
Pepper
Olive oil
2 to 4 red bell peppers

Cook raw basmati rice in water for 20 minutes, last 5 minutes turn off heat and allow to steam cook.

Cut tops off peppers and steam them. While peppers are steaming, saute garlic, onions, mushroom, celery, walnuts, savory, salt or tamari and pepper in olive oil. When onions are translucent and fragrant, add basmati rice.

Stuff mixture into steamed peppers until full. Serve with green vegetable and salad.
