QUICK & EASY YEAST ROLLS 
1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. hot milk
1/3 to 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1 to 1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, unbeaten
3 1/2 to 4 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir and set aside. Combine milk, sugar, salt and butter in a large mixing bowl. Add 1 1/2 cups flour, mixing by hand or with mixer. Mix in yeast and egg. Add remaining flour to make soft dough.

Place in greased bowl; let rise until double (covered). Punch down and with greased hands, shape into rolls. Place on greased pan and let rise. Bake at 350 to 400 degrees for 12 to 20 minutes.
