LEMON AND GARLIC PASTA 
1/2 lb. spaghetti
2 cloves garlic
1/4 c. olive oil
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Cook pasta in boiling salted water until done; drain and return to hot pot. Mince the garlic.

In a small pan, heat oil and butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Toss garlic, oil, parsley, lemon rind and juice, salt and pepper with pasta. Taste for seasoning and add salt and pepper as needed. Serve at once.
